We had the great pleasure of having Dino and his team being our wedding photographers and videographers, capturing the joyful moments of our Hindu wedding, civil ceremony, and evening reception – and wow, what can we say…. the photos are amazing!!!
It was a few months into the wedding planning, and we came across Dino on Instagram. After seeing the quality and creativity of the work he produces, we both knew we wanted Dino and his team to be part of our special occasion. We contacted him and within a few texts and calls, he was definitely the perfect fit. He was easy to talk to, very professional and understood the type of photography and videography we envisaged.
Neither of us enjoy posing for pictures and wanted natural, candid shots that capture the events throughout our big day. In preparation for this, we met Dino for the first time for the wedding pre-shoot where he used the amazing backdrop to create some great photos but more importantly made us feel relaxed and excited for the upcoming wedding events.
The day of the wedding arrived...Dino and his team were familiar with our venue, knew exactly what the programme of the day was and were able to guide us to ensure they captured all the key moments of the Hindu wedding ceremony. With their attention to detail, creative approach (yes…that little monkey on the camera worked a treat!) and relaxed style made this a very personable experience for both us and our wedding guests.
On to the civil wedding, the more intimate service of the wedding day, we were extremely lucky to have the weather on our side allowing this to take place outdoors. The incredible landscape was the perfect backdrop and Dino captured this special part of the day without any interruption to the flow of the ceremony.
When it came to our couples photos, we had a great laugh with Dino, Chris, Jay and Kev with us all cracking jokes such as mistaking Kev as the flashlight when being told to “keep looking at Kev”! We were thoroughly impressed with how well they worked seamlessly together with the photography and videography and how efficient they were with the time available without stealing us away for too long from the party.
The evening reception was the icing on the cake with the combination of indoor and outdoor photography opportunities. The photos captured the energy, vibrancy and sheer happiness of us and our wedding guests. Many of our guests commented on how brilliant Dino was as they saw him floating around the dance floor and taking snaps of us all dancing the night away.
Upon receipt of the online portal to view our photos, we were impressed with how easy it was to use and to save our favourites to folders that could be shared with our friends and family. The hardest thing was to decide which amazing pictures Dino captured, made it into the album as there were so many great ones to choose from.
Throughout the day, Dino and his team were more like our extended guests as they mingled with everyone whilst at the same time creating these amazing memories for us to look back on. To capture all the emotions on such a beautiful day is a skill and an art in itself; a testament to Dino and his team doing this so naturally and creatively, you guys were brilliant!!!
